SICK AUSTRALIAN MURDOCH JOURNO EXPLOITS BUSHFIRE TRAGEDY TO PUSH ISLAMOPHOBIC PROPAGANDA.

The recent disastrous bushfire in Australia, which have killed some 180 people and destroyed nearly 800 homes, has been callously and cynically used by ‘Sydney Daily Telegraph’ senior journalist and right-wing blogger at that paper, Piers Akerman, to push his extreme anti-Islam hate mongering by claiming that Islamists may have deliberately lit the fires as a terrorist act.

Akerman has opportunistically and outrageously abused the victims of the tragedy and taken advantage of his senior position with the newspaper in order to propagandise his anti-Islam stance. Needless to say the ‘Sydney Daily Telegraph’ is a Rupert Murdoch-owned newspaper. Need one say more!

Akerman, well known for many years in Australia for his ultra right-wing racist views, has stepped over the line by exploiting and abusing the tragedy of those that have died and those that have survived but lost everything they had, simply to push his racist Islamophobic propaganda.

UPDATE

One wonders how long it will be before some troublemaker takes up the advise given by Neil Livingston of Executive Action LLC, a so-called ‘security’ company (mercenary) operating out of the US, who has said “terrorists could claim responsibility for the Australian inferno even if they had nothing to do with it - though he added that could ignite a 'hell of a backlash' against Muslims in Australia”.
Just as easily, a Muslim-hater could also claim responsibility while pretending to be a ‘Jihadist’. As has been shown, the lunatic Islamophobic Piers Akerman has already suggested that Jihadists may have been responsible. It would be just a matter of time before one of Akerman’s racist bloggies takes up the challenge of deceit to false-flag the Muslim community as the perpetrators of the fires.

I remember the old saying "the guilty dog always barks first." I would believe the Mossad did it before I would anyone else.

I believe they started the fires in California, also.

They have easy access to entry into the U.S. (i.e, the dancing Israelis on 9/11 were in the U.S. illegally) or just about any country and valid criticism or just pointing out the obvious truth where Israel or Jews are concerned brings the "anti-semitic" screamers and hair pullers out in full force. NO CRITICISM or QUESTIONING is allowed where this group is concerned. Shutting everyone else up makes everything so easy for them. That is how this small majority of about 2% bullies and rules over the other 98% of us.

Sounds just like the type of "go to guy" some raging Zionist like Murdoch loves to have on his staff....Uhhh, I mean paper.

Akerman has had charges of sexual harassment levelled against him by employees. Five former employees, three of whom agreed to be named, said they witnessed Mr Akerman sexually harass female members of his staff.[2][3] A group of female staff at The Sunday Herald met and agreed to protect each other in the office from Akerman's advances.[2][3]

One of the most controversial episodes in Akerman's life was his alleged threat to assault the literary editor of The Advertiser, Shirley Stott Despoja.[2][3] The dispute ended before a full bench of the Supreme Court where the newspaper appealed against Stott Despoja's successful worker's compensation claim for stress-related sickleave pay. Stott Despoja alleged: "I was physically threatened by the editor while alone with him in an office in a dispute over my work." The appeal by The Advertiser was dismissed and Stott Despoja won her $4000 claim.[2][3]

Responding to rumours about his alleged abuse of alcohol and cocaine, cited in both the New South Wales Parliament as well as the Australian Federal Parliament,[5][6] and in a Sunday Age article about him in 1991,[2][3] Akerman, who is clearly overweight, replied: "My appearance belies that story, don't you think?"

No, it doesn't Piers. Coke heads that stop snorting the powder usually replace that drug with overindulgence in food.

What he needed was something so over the top it would have left little doubt that Muslims are behind it. He could've said that radical arsonist Muslim members are simply posing as Jews to make it look as if Mossad started the fires to try and obviously blame the Jews when we all really know it's been Al-Qaeda all along.

That sounds so crazy that it might just work.

G'day Damian,

and thanks for the mention of -libre; your Murdoch item inspired me to do a post called morality and propaganda. It's a sad commentary that the decrepit Murdoch journalists and others - even some in the publicly financed AusBC (like on RN/Breakfast, say) and SBS can say the crooked stuff that do seemingly without notice, let alone any apparent resistance from their general 'audience.' Propaganda makes me fume, stop the lies!

"I remember the old saying "the guilty dog always barks first." I would believe the Mossad did it before I would anyone else".

I too would make Mossad ( by way of deception thou shalt do war ), or even a rotund News corpse hack my first suspects without a doubt.

"Akerman has had charges of sexual harassment levelled against him by employees. Five former employees, three of whom agreed to be named, said they witnessed Mr Akerman sexually harass female members of his staff".

Am i the only one surprised he was accused of harassing "female" staff members!?
I'd always imagined the fat swine trolling the streets of Darlinghurst in a filthy old overcoat and carrying a box of Krispy Kreme donuts.
