WILL ISRAEL INVADE THE EGYPTIAN SINAI?

Israel’s government are deep in discussions about how best to handle the Egyptian crisis. The possibility of a Muslim Brotherhood-dominated Egyptian government weighs heavily on their minds.

With the Egyptians in the midst of revolution and right now at their most vulnerable in terms of defending themselves against an Israeli strike, the Israelis may well be tempted to retake part of the Sinai in order to create a buffer zone to pre-empt the opening up of the Gaza Strip. This would not only halt the possibility of an increased flow of armaments which the Gazan Palestinians can then use to defend themselves against continued Israeli oppression, but halt the flow of arms into the Gaza altogether.

Of course, the Israelis will no doubt be considering many options, but they will also have in minds their long term objectives and that is to ultimately create a Greater Israel.

The Israelis have always been past masters of turning adversity into triumph and this may well be one threat that they may choose to turn into opportunity.

Reoccupying the Gaza on a permanent basis and dispelling the Palestinians has always been the ultimate aim of the Zionists.

As I said, the Zionists are never ones to let an opportunity slip.

No, Israel will not invade.

Israel will do anything with its military except take casualties.

Stomping on Gazan civilians is one thing - going against the Egyptian Army is another.

All that aid the U.S. has been giving to Egypt - it's mostly been military aid, and Egypt has plenty of top quality U.S.- made military equipment, and an army twice the size of Israel in active personnel. Egypt has quite a fine Navy and Air Force, for that matter, as well.

There is simply no way Israel could do it - they lack the resources.

Israel will not enter the area. The USA has stationed troops in the area since Camp David. Israel will not attack US Military forces. They learned how bad things can become after they attacked the USS Liberty. It took a major cover up to keep from losing the USA as an friend.

Acquiring territory: good. Acquiring goyim: bad. The Zionists must be weighing the pros and cons. There are a good many goyim living in Gaza, so many, in fact, that the Zios ultimately decided to abandon their colonies there. They might turn the whole place into a lake of molten lava with nuclear bombs, of course, but it's uncomfortably near home, and besides, it would be a shame to ruin a lot of good land that would be a definite asset if only it could be ethnically cleansed. I'm sure the Zios would welcome any helpful suggestions in that connection right now.
