Further to my article of the 11 November 2008 when I hypothesised that the traces of enriched uranium reported on by the International Atomic Energy Agency at the so-called nuclear site that was bombed in Syria in September 2007 may have been mischievously placed there by the Israelis via the bombs they used, it seems that the Syrians are now thinking on the same lines.

Clearly, the Israeli raid on the Syrian ‘nuclear plant’, what with all its secrecy and lack of both denials and confirmation, has been some sort of well planned propaganda exercise designed to specifically accuse Syria of developing nuclear weapons with the aim of attempting to manipulate world public opinion against Syria so that future confrontations between Israel and their Arab neighbours will have the West already ‘on side’ if and when Israel provokes the final confrontation which it hopes ultimately will be the destruction of the Iranian government.

Wow, numerous varied anti-Israel, anti-"Zionist" posts that do nothing but demonise the Jewish state. Talk about obesssion.

You're not much fond of them Jews, are you Damian?

As it happens I'm very fond of Jews.
However, I and most of the world are not too fond of anyone, regardless of their race, colour or creed, that are extreme right-wing and who think they have the right to dictate to others how they may live and take away lands that do not belong to them.
The only person 'obsessed' are the right-wing Zionists and their supporters like yourself who confuse anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism.
Zionists might like to think that Israel is a 'Jewish state' but the reality is it is home to all sorts of people including Jews, Arabs, Christians, Muslims, you name it.

... except that you'd like to see this 80% Jewish state cease to exist.

Damian Lataan said...

Not at all.

I'd like to see it co-exist as equals with the Palestinian peoples.

An admirable and just sentiment Damian.

Funny how annonymous thinks that Zionist is synonymous with Jews.

Does he not know about Christian Zionists who long for th eethnic cleansing of Palestine region of all but Jews so the area can be "Armageddoned" adn the Messiah returns?

Or the True Torah who stick to the Torah version of when Israel is allowed to exist and be called such? Anything else to them is an abomination and will bring evil. WOW how prophetic of them.

It is well past two state solution, it is time that the State of Israel accepted international norms amongst civlised nations regarding the rule of law, equality under that law, refusal of racial and ethnic and religious racism bigotry and such evils .

it is time the Stae of Israel accepted it's real history and made amends , just as Nazi Germany had to for it's dreadful treatment of Jewish Europeans and others.

It is time there was one State solution where all are protected by the rule of law from racist ethnic cleansing and genocide that happened in WW@ qand now is happening to the Palestinians by the right wing Zionists with the permission or ignorance of the rest of the world.

Peace requires justice and removal of oppression. Thanks you Damian for doing your bit. People in Israel and Palestine (or Isr-PAL) need peace and deserve such . Then the pipelines from the East can run adn trade can flourish and it will becomce a model of ethnic diversity and respect that Jewish and Christian religions have always tried for in other countries.

As to the bombs, it must be rememberd the dumping of the fuel tanks by the Israelis on the way back over Turkey. This was a long range mission terminated. Syria was not the original target, logically unless there was dual action, which as such would have been decisive rather than deceptive.
