It would seem that the Israelis are ratcheting up the propaganda to create the illusion that they will have casus belli to attack their enemies. They have denied any role in the recent assassination of Hizbollah’s number two man and are itching to use the retaliation of his death as the casus belli to attack Hizbollah. They are also using the potential opportunity of attacking Hizbollah as a possible excuse to also attack Syria on the basis that Syria may help their ally Hizbollah to carry out the retaliation attacks against Israel. Ehud Barak, Israel’s top terrorist leader and now ‘Defence Minister’ is already setting up Syria and, of course, Iran, as the fall guys to take the blame for any Hizbollah ‘retaliation’.
One should watch out for a false flag attack upon Israeli targets anywhere in the world at any time soon. And then sit back and watch the Israeli and US finger of blame get pointed at Israel’s enemies thus providing the excuse to go to war.
The Israelis have become so predictable but still the dumb and gullible take it all in.

Entirely agreed. The Israeli regime often does not take responsibility for its 'big ticket' assassinations.
I think there is some doubt cast over Syria as some tight police state, too, as they have left open doors for Mossad.
There's no question the zionist entity are doing all they can to needle Nasrallah and provoking Hez into another war. The Winograd report strongly implied that Israel's only crime was losing the war. The only way to save face for them is by winning a war against Hezbollah.
With the US government voicing its approval of Moughniyeh's killing in almost identical language, and recalling that only 8 members of Congress opposed Israel's 2006 invasion of Lebanon no thanks to the stranglehold of the Israel Lobby, one wonders whether this time the US will join the war instead of merely encouraging it?
A regional conflagration bringing in Iran and Syria could result, and the Israeli neocons would have brought the US in to yet another war.
Because of Nasrallah, Hezbollah have exercised much judicious restraint and discipline over the past two years in particular. I think Israel is counting on entropy the course of entropy for Nasrallah's excellent record to wane. ie we're all human and the best leadership can have its moment of lapses, especially in a pressure cooker.
The zionist regime are counting on their patience running out and for an escalation.
Nasrallah's between a rock and a hard place, for sure. Read today's not unsympathetic Daily Star editorial which reflects this.
You've hit the nail on the head Ann. Israel, as per usual, have masterfully manipulated a situation that puts them in a win/win situation. They either goad Hezbollah into retaliation which will play right into the Israelis hands, or they show Nasrallah to be impotent and weak in the face of blatant provocation if he doesn't react.
His strength, however, will be in allowing others to think he is weak while those that know him better are aware of the real consequences of retaliation.
