The ‘Longwarjournal', (http://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2008/09/mystery_surrounds_hi.phpan) online journal closely associated with the neocon ‘Weekly Standard’, which cast the same aspersions. It’s odd though that the pirates should have all these terrible things happen to them but not the crew. How does that work?Damian Lataanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06886295381135372084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708970.post-10106487442599862272008-11-23T18:38:00.000+10:302008-11-23T18:38:00.000+10:30Irony: After submitting comment here complaining a...Irony: After submitting comment here complaining about censorship by JPost Talkback moderators who clearly didn't like the truth about the MV Iran Deyant coming out (bit too embarassing for Caroline Glick?), I submitted another one with this link and all of sudden JPost censors seem to cease the censorship.

Now I wonder whether they'll take Glick to task for spreading false rumour?orana gelarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14467188183913008276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708970.post-16861401470513661782008-11-23T14:53:00.000+10:302008-11-23T14:53:00.000+10:30G'day Damian and David G, I've some interesting ne...G'day Damian and David G, I've some interesting news to share with you.

This past week I've been causing a bit of cognitive-dissonance amongst some Zionists spouting ridiculous things on JPost Talkback.

Then Caroline Glick published an article in which she carefully promoted the MV Iran Deyant "dirty bomb" propaganda.

The propaganda is a story with its origins on right wing blog "The Long War" that some Somali pirates who had taken the MV Iran Deyant had subsequently died after exposure to the ship's cargo.

The deaths are described so that it sounds like the cargo was nuclear material. Some right wing propagandists are now claiming it was radioactive sand.

The MV Iran Deyant had sailed from China and was headed to Rotterdam in the Netherlands, via the Suez Canal and the Mediterranean, and its manifest listed the cargo as minerals and industrial products.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, the MV Iran Deyanat arrived at Rotterdam on 11 November 2008 and Dutch news outlets reported that a "multi-disciplinary team comprising inspectors from the port authority, customs and habour police boarded and searched the ship." The reports also state that they found no hazardous substances on board.

Yet Caroline Glick and the Jerusalem Post editors still decided to pretend the ship was carrying some nuke nasty stuff. I've now had several comments censored because they point out the facts the Dutch news outlets reported.

Just goes to show.orana gelarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14467188183913008276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7708970.post-78960360656969962382008-11-21T10:56:00.000+10:302008-11-21T10:56:00.000+10:30It's amazing that in the middle of a serious world...It's amazing that in the middle of a serious world financial and economic crisis that there are still those who are beating wardrums.

Then I guess when you have two countries like Israel and America that are religiously deranged, it's not hard to believe, I guess.

Hopefully the world will survive two more months of Bush without a nuclear attack. Then we have to worry about Obama's agenda!

Cheers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
